AWC Seattle and Women in Tech teamed up for an informative discussion of “Navigating the Intersection of Marketing and Technology.”
The nearly 30 attendees enjoyed networking while noshing on tasty and hearty food provided by the evening’s host, TUNE. AWC Seattle sincerely thanks TUNE for their hospitality, and Women in Tech for their partnership, to create this successful program.
AWC’s VP for Membership, Laura Ware, introduced the panel. The moderator, Emily Carrion, is Head of Marketing at Apptentive. The panel included Jennifer Wong, VP of Marketing at TUNE; Amy Delaney, VP and Marketing Director for Pacific Continental Bank, and Reetu Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Cirkled In.
The panelists answered questions from the moderator about their use of technology and marketing. They discussed being open to trying new things, using data to measure ROI and study user behavior, being able to watch traffic generated by digital advertising, and getting data in “real time” that provides information on users.
As one panelist pointed out, “Every company has to be a technology-based company.” We thank all of our panelists, and the audience members who asked questions, for engaging in a stimulating discussion. We look forward to future opportunities to partner with Women in Tech!
