These days, it’s virtually impossible to run an effective marketing program without incorporating technology, whether it be a website, social media, a customer database, or marketing automation. Marketing and technology have become intertwined, and businesses that harness this power are achieving the best outcomes.
Our panel will discuss how to effectively leverage technology to communicate and measure results, as well as innovative ways to differentiate your business. We’ll also discuss how marketers and technologists can develop more successful collaborations and learn from each other’s expertise.

Moderator: Emily Carrion, Head of Marketing at Apptentive
Emily calls herself “a start-up veteran and digital marketing leader with a passion for data-driven storytelling, all things mobile, and building high performing teams.” She leads marketing at Apptentive, where, she says, “we’re on a mission to make it easier for companies to build stronger relationships with their customers. I wear many hats, including leading marketing strategy, demand generation, digital/social advertising, marketing communications, brand messaging, product marketing, and our incredibly talented team.”
Previously in her career she led marketing communications at ad-tech company Mixpo, helped mobile tech startup Point Inside grow from 2 to 75+ people, and took a chance at her own start-up, Couple Fire. She also opened the Latin American Division at The Pacific Institute.
Jennifer Wong, VP of Marketing, TUNE
Jennifer was raised in an entrepreneurial world and developed her love of technology and marketing through her always on, always connected lifestyle. As TUNE’s lead marketing executive, Jennifer heads the company’s global marketing team overseeing corporate messaging, public relations, branding, media, content and events. She has been instrumental in expanding the company’s global marketing presence and its team of passionate, fearless and knowledge-seeking marketers with a love of solving difficult problems. Previous to TUNE, Jennifer grew and managed the demand generation program for Optify, a marketing technology start-up based in Seattle, before it was acquired in 2013.
Amy K Delaney, VP, Marketing Director, Pacific Continental Bank
Amy has worked for Pacific Continental Bank for more than 13 years and serves as vice president and marketing director. Amy oversees the marketing department, which includes all of the bank’s advertising, digital marketing, public relations, website, social media, hosted events, client communication and more. She is a frequent public speaker, presenting to organizations and universities in the Pacific Northwest on topics such as marketing, social media, employee volunteerism, corporate donor relations and corporate culture.
Reetu Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of Cirkled In
Reetu is a marketer, technologist and entrepreneur at heart, who bridges the gap between technology and customer needs. She created Cirkled In, a secure, centralized e-Profile and e-Portfolio platform, for K-12 students to compile their entire school-life achievements. She brings 20 years of technology and business expertise to Cirkled in. Reetu is passionate about education and knows that this 100+ year old industry is ready for disruption. Reetu earned her MBA (Valedictorian) in Technology Management from Foster school of Business at UW, and MS and BS from NIT, India. Reetu strongly believes in giving back to the community, and with Cirkled in, she hopes to leave a lasting legacy in the field of technology and education. Reetu’s mantra in life is “Where there is a will, there is a way!”
