Serving on the AWC Seattle Board of Directors offers the chance to have a direct impact on the benefits the Chapter offers and the programs we develop. Wherever you are on your career path, getting involved on the Board gives you the opportunity to share your expertise and learn from professionals working in a variety of communications fields.
Board positions include:
Conduct outreach activities to encourage and expand membership, as well as retain existing members.
Develop and execute a strategic marketing and communications program to advance the reputation of the organization and inform members of programs and news.
VP, Programs and Events
Plan the Chapter’s professional development programs and networking events.
VP, Student Affairs
Communicate regularly with the academic advisors and chapter leadership of AWC Student Chapters.
Board member terms are one-year and include monthly board meetings and attendance at events.
